Freckles

Freckles 01

Freckles usually consists of pigment that are located superficially in the skin. They have a genetic component to it and occurs in individuals at a young age.  They are very sensitive to UV rays and many individuals see their freckles lighten in Winter (when there is less sunlight) and typically they get darker in the Summer when exposure to the sun is more abundant.

In sunny Singapore where it is literally Summer all year round, using a sunscreen of SPF 30 at least is essential to prevent freckles from getting darker.

Freckles are very treatable with our pigmentation removal procedure and is primarily done so via our pigment specific Spectra XT laser and the LATEST BB Laser.
